Aly Negma
Ali is an Egyptian dancer and belly dance instructor based in Paris. In 2020, he graduated from the three years full time program at Cairo Contemporary Dance Center (CCDC) and moved to France where he performed with choreographer Olivier Dubois and toured Europe as part of the production ITMAHRAG. A martial arts enthusiast since a young age, he became a professional Taekwondo practitioner, which ignited his passion for movement. After working in fashion for three years, he decided to study dance (contemporary, ballet and hip hop) in 2015 for four years in addition to intensively exploring other dance styles such as jazz or modern ballet for another year. As a result, he became fascinated by dance history and concentrated on Egyptian forms and its origins.
